Meet the Team
The people behind LCS Heating and Cooling — locally owned and dedicated to lasting comfort solutions since 2005.
Meet LCS Heating and Cooling's Indianapolis HVAC expert team
We (Travis and Renee) wanted to create a business that would create positive experiences for other people. To us, a positive experience makes someone feel happy, improves their quality of life, or provides something of high quality. We provide these experiences by offering solutions so people can be comfortable in their homes, delivering the best customer service they've ever experienced, and making the whole process as stress-free as possible.
In a time when many HVAC companies are selling to private equity firms, Travis and Renee remain the local owners — dedicated to serving the LCS team as well as the homeowners of Indianapolis and the surrounding areas.
LCS relies strictly on stable, certified W-2 local employees — we explicitly reject transient subcontractor models.

Technical Academy & Field Mastery
LCS invests in training beyond typical contractor onboarding — residency courses, NCI airflow expertise, weekly off-road modules, and a warehouse simulator coming online for 2027.
80-Hour Go Time Installation Course (Texas)
Technicians deploy to intense out-of-state residency training focused on installation best practices — far above standard contractor onboarding.
40-Hour Ultimate Tech Academy Residencies (Arkansas)
Hands-on modules covering complex heat pump calibration, residential HVAC electrical engineering, and advanced cycle refrigeration.
National Comfort Institute (NCI) Expertise
Senior Field Manager Travis Ross holds specialized NCI certifications in structural airflow mechanics and residential ductwork optimization.
Continuous Weekly Training Cadence
Internal departments spend approximately 2 full hours per week entirely off the road in dedicated modules covering core technical skills, industry updates, and refined consumer communication.
The LCS Warehouse Simulator Facility
Physical build-out of a live laboratory inside the local warehouse — two active working equipment platforms, multi-brand parts boards, live zoning modules, and whole-home bypass humidification/dehumidification setups engineered to create real-world mechanical faults. Facility build-out finishes by the end of 2026; comprehensive internal field training curriculum launches January 2027 — eliminating out-of-state training reliance for apprentices, veteran testing, and technical interviews.
Cultural Cohesion & Moral Integrity
Structured social sequences balance employee-only paid afternoon training events with full family picnics and employee +1 formal adult evening outings — so the Launch Crew knows and respects spouses and families.
We pull permits on every change-out, lead with verified awards, staff with non-commissioned W-2 Launch Crew technicians, and present itemized Good / Better / Best choices — never bait-and-switch pricing, never subcontractors posing as employees, never hidden financing fine print.
